छायाचित्रात जेष्ठ नागरिक आहेत ते श्री. गजानन कडू पाटील, टाकरखेडे, ता.जामनेर, जि. जळगाव, जिल्ह्यातील महत्त्वाचे राजकीय व्यक्तीमत्व . त्यांनी महाराष्ट्र राज्य कृषी पणन संस्था मुंबई, चे चेअरमन पदावर काम केले आहे. शेती मालास हमी भाव, खते बियाणे पुरवठा, पशुखाद्य, इ. काम राज्य पातळीवर करतांना स्वत: लाभ घेतला नाही. विश्वस्त म्हणून काम केले. जळगाव जिल्ह्यातून सह्याद्री समाज सदस्य अभियान त्यांचे आशिर्वादाने सुरू केले.
The senior citizen in the photograph is Shri Gajanan Kadu Patil, from Takarkhede, Taluka Jamner, District Jalgaon. He is a prominent political personality in the district.
He has served as the Chairman of the Maharashtra State Agricultural Marketing Board, Mumbai. While working at the state level on issues such as minimum support prices for agricultural produce, supply of fertilizers and seeds, cattle feed, etc., he never sought personal benefit and worked in the spirit of a trustee.
